It was a rainy day and i was all alone at home. It was pitch black outside when suddenly i heard someone knocking at my door.
I was lying on the sofa playing video games, but the knocking continued which led me to loose this round in the game.
Frustrated i got up from the sofa and opened up the door.
I wasn't expecting anyone since my father was not at home.
It was so dark outside, i could hardly see anyone from the window. I decided to open the door and i saw a tall man, wearing a long black cloak, at the door. " Where is your mother, little boy?", the man asked.
I didn't reply and just kept staring at the briefcase in his hand, with his smiling face, with his mustache and inquisitive attitude.
My mother stepped forward and welcomed the business looking man inside. He sat the man down and offered him tea, when i over heard them talking about filing some papers.
"Is this your final decision Mrs.Jones?", he inquired.
To which my mother responded by sighing and saying, "Yes, just make sure that after the divorce i get my son". Upon hearing these words, i realized that what my relatives had been saying was true. It was the end. My parents were leaving each other.
