It was Rohini's 16th birthday. She was very happy and excited. She was overwhelmed with joy when her father came to attend her birthday. Her father had been working in New York City. He was not able to attend any of her birthdays because of his busy schedule. On this birthday he gave a surprise to not only Rohini but to all the family members. They were very happy to see him. He brought gifts for everyone and gifted a laptop to Rohini on her birthday. She was happy on that day. It was her one of the best birthdays.

Rohini’s Birthday
The day she had been waiting for had finally come. Rohini and her sister, who was 14 years of age, had been planning for it since the last 2 months – Rohini’s 16th birthday. At about 10 AM all her very good friends that she had invited home, started to arrive. A grand cake which her dad had ordered, arrived soon afterwards and Rohini cut the cake. Once the short ceremony was over, they said goodbye to her parents, and took a cab to the PROZONE theatre, where the AVENGERS movie was showing.
All of them enjoyed the movie and after that they all had a grand lunch from the food court. By the time they dispersed and Rohini and her sister reached home, it was almost 7 PM. They had had such a wonderful time that Rohini was overwhelmed with joy. Then she got the next surprise of her life! Her dad handed her a key to her brand new scooty – the kind which did not require a license to use. It was least expected and Rohini could not help but shed tears of joy! What a way to end the day, she thought as she hugged her parents and sister.
