Question 15 -

i) Saucepan handles - Saucepan handles are made up of thermosetting plastics because they have high melting point and they don't absorb heat easily and keep our hands safe.

ii) Kitchenware- kitchenwares are made up of thermoplastic as they are strong and durable and are cheaper compared to metals kitchenwares.

iii) Protective coating on wires -When current flows through wires , it emits a lot of heat and if the wires aren't made up of thermosetting plastic, they'll easily melt and which can cause electrical mishap.

iv) Bristles of comb - Bristles of comb are made up of thermosetting plastics because they are strong and don't bend easily and ideal for combs.

v) Very Strong ropes - ropes made up of Thermosetting plastics can bear heavy weights easily without breaking and they are cheaper compared to other synthetic materials.

vi)Packaging materials- Packaging material is made up of Thermosetting plastic because it keeps the product inside safe and its strong enough to not let the material inside escape and it is cheap too.
