What shunt is required across 15 Ω resistor to balance the bridge

Solution:

P = 10      Q = 10      R = 12       S = 15 + R

p/q=r/s

10/10=12/15+r

r=12/15

=0.8

The resistor of resistance 0.8 ohms must be connected in parallel to resistor S to balance the circuit.
