1. Primitive type of cells are called prokaryotic cells. monerans only come under prokaryotes.

prokaryotes does not contain membrane bound cell organelles where eukaryotic cells contain. prokaryotes contain 70s ribosomes where eukaryotic cell contains 80s ribosomes.

2. DNA material of prokaryotes is called nucleoid or genophore.
