Explanation:
- In the given diagram, the current is flowing from A to B.
- But after passing through 4 Ω resistance, that is after passing from AX we can observe a short circuit.
- In the short circuit, the current directly flows from point Y to point Z without passing through WY.
So, the effective resistance would be equal to the first resistance.
∴ The effective resistance = 4 Ω
