Answer:

Transparent Objects : If you are able to see clearly through an object, it is allowing light to pass through it and is transparent. For example :water, clear glass etc. Opaque Objects : If we cannot see through an object at all, it is an opaque object. For example: wooden door, wall etc.

Objects based on their ability to transfer light are classified into three types.

1. Transparent

2. Translucent

3. Opaque

1. Transparent - This kind of object allows all the light to go through them. They are see-through kinds of objects. Examples are - water, Air.

2. Translucent -  This kind of object allows partially the light to go through them. Examples- paper.

3. Opaque - This kind of object does not allow any light to go through them. They make a dark shadow when light falls on them. Examples - wood, book.
