Izzy is calculating the amount of time it takes a rocket to get to the moon The moon is around 239,000 miles from Earth How many hours would it take a rocket that
can travel at 500 miles per minute to travel to the moon? Round to the nearest hour.​

speed of rocket = 500 miles per minute

time taken = distance / speed

time taken = 239000 / 500

time taken = 478 minutes

now we know, 60 minutes = 1 hour

478 minutes = 478/60 hours

478 minutes = 7.967 hours

rounded off to the nearest hour = 8 hours

so, time taken by a rocket to reach the moon = 478 minutes or 8 hours
