Answer :

Step 1 - Jagan runs at the speed of 16km/ hr and took time of 24 hr..

Given,

   Speed = 16km / hr

   Time  = 24 hr

   Distance = ?

As, Distance = speed × Time

      So, D = 16 km/hr × 24 hr

                = 384 km

So the distance covered by Jagan in 24 hr at the speed of 16 km/ hr is 384 Km.

Step 2 -

So the time taken by Jagan to cover the same distance at another speed of 30 km / hr is -

Given, Distance = 384 km

            Speed = 30 km / hr

           Time =      ?

     So,  D = S × T

           T = D/T

           T = 384/ 30

    T = 12.8 hr or 12 hr 8 min.
