Here is your answer.
By Car

Distance= 240 km
Speed= 60 km/ hr
so Time = 240/60.
= 4 hr

By Train,

Distance = 400 km
Speed = 100 km/hr
so Time = 400/100
= 4 hr

By Bus,
Distance = 200 km
Speed = 50 km/ hr
so Time = 200/50
= 4 hr

Now, for average speed we have to calculate

Total Distance = 240 + 400 + 200
= 840 km

Total Time = 4 + 4 +4
= 12 hr

Average Speed = \frac{Total \:Distance}{Total \:Time}\\
 = \frac{840}{12} \\ \\ = 70 \: km \: per \: hrs
The average speed during the whole journey was 70 km / hrs.
