James Proton prepares a saturated solution of sodium chloride in a beaker by adding solid sodium chloride and stirring. When James finishes, crystals of sodium chloride are observed at the bottom of the beaker.

The sodium and chloride ions never dissociate after reaching the saturation point. As you mention above, James proton prepares a saturated solution of solid sodium chloride and stirring

When James finished, he observed the crystals of solid sodium chloride at the bottom of beaker because more solute is not able to dissociate in the solvent once the saturation point is reached. The undissolved solute appears as crystals at the bottom of the beaker.

Temperature can delay the saturation point of the solution which allows more solute to dissolve.
