Jenkins can manage job dependencies using the file finger printing functionality.
When a user is having the large number of interdependent projects on their Jenkins, then it becomes really hard for them to keep track on which version of the file is being used.
To manage this type of job dependency on that file, file fingerprinting functionality is used. Hope it helps.
