volume of each piece=πr^2h/16
=22×4.5×4.5×5/(7×16)=19.88 so approx 20 cubic inches

Find the radius:

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 9 ÷ 2 = 4.5 inches

Find the volume of the cake:

Volume = πr²h

Volume = π(4.5)²(5)

Volume = 318.21 in³

Find the volume of 1 slice:

16 slices = 318.21 in³

1 slice = 318.21 ÷ 16 = 19.89 ≈ 20 in³

Answer: The volume of 1 slice of cake is approximately 20 in³
