Hii frndz ,
Jerome starts off by feeling uneasy because he had just read a patent liver-pill circular. Scanning the symptoms of liver disease, Jerome imagines he has similar problems,
"It is a most extraordinary thing, but I never read a patent medicine advertisement without being impelled to the conclusion that I am suffering from the particular disease therein dealt with in its most virulent form. The diagnosis seems in every case to correspond exactly with all the sensations that I have ever felt."
hope it helps you !!

Heya friend,
A book named 'Three Friends in a boat' was narrated by Jerome.K.Jerome. The book has four main characters named as Jerome, Harris, George, Montomorency (Dog) .
As the novel opens , we see that the four friends were having a discussion on their health.
Jerome was describing sadly that his liver was out of order as he had all the symptoms stated in the liver patent circular. Also when he had a visit to the museum, he read a medical encyclopaedia in which stated all diseases, as he flipped every page , he read all diseases and said he had all of them A-Z , except Housemaid's Knee.
So these instances prove that Jerome was a hypochondriac , as he was not having any disease still he thought he had every except Housemaid's Knee.
That's all in the answer!
Hope it helps...!!!!
