Jerry wants to fill his aquarium with water. The aquarium is 50 cm long, 20 cm wide and 30 cm deep. How much water does he need to fill the aquarium?

Solution,

Total volume of the tank = 50×20×33 = 33000 cm^3

Filled volume = 50 20 ×12 = 12000 cm^3

Balance volume to be filled = 50 × 20 × 21 = 21000 cm^3

Hence volume to be filled = 21 litres.

Hence,Jerry needs 21 litters water to fill the aquarium.
