280000 Rupees is equal to 4 x + 3 x

280000 Rupees is equal to 7x 40000 is equal to X therefore Jignesh invested 160000 and Pragnesh invested 120000

Given,

The amount invested ratio = 4:3.

The total money invested = 280000rs.

The percentage of loss = 10%.

To Find,

The individual deposit amount and loss share.

Solution,

Given that,

Jignesh and Pragnesh deposited an amount of 280000 in the ratio of 4:3.

Therefore,

The total amount is,

take ratio as 4x, 3x.

4x+3x = 280000rs.

7x = 280000rs.

x = \frac{280000}{7}

x = 40000rs.

Therefore, by applying the value of x,

4x = 4 × 40000

160000rs.

3x = 3 × 40000

120000rs.

The percentage of their loss is 10%.

Therefore,

Jignesh share = 10 × \frac{160000}{100}

16000rs.

Pragnesh share = 10 ×\frac{120000}{100}

12000rs.

Hence, 160000rs, and 120000rs are the investment of Jignesh and Pragnesh respectively. And their loss share is 16000rs and 12000rs.
