Answer:

the body of penguins is designed to live in very cold and freezing places.

in order to tolerate the cold they have a furry coating on their skin which protects them from the cold and keeps their body warm by trapping the heat.

if they are brought to mumbai then they cannot tolerate heat because their body absorbs it but cannot release it back.

hence, they will die.

so they need to get acclimatised in order to make them live .

Answer:

Penguins in Jijmata Udyan Zoo Mumbai:

Penguins are normally habituated to live in the cold environment and with ice frozen place.

But when they shifted from their place to another environment like Jijamata Udyan in Mumbai where the climate is very so they need to acclimatize in that environment to survive in the new environment.

In the Mumbai, the climate is very hot and also humid so the penguins need to take some time to adjust the place.
