Question

Jimmy Bullard and his friend went for fishing.
They got six fishes without heads, nine fishes without the tail and eight fishes cut in two halves.

How many fishes did they caught ?

yes i am going for 23 too 

If I eat a fish it does not include the head.  I have still eaten 1 fish.

If a person has a leg amputated they are still a person.

If i eat a sandwich that has been cut in half then it means i ate both halves.

So if i catch a fish that has been cut in half it is reasonable to think that I have caught both halves.

So I am going with 23 fish :)
