assigned a duty to transfer some valuable gold ornaments from a one temple to the other temple.Somehow robbers got to know about this and planned a robbery.
The day Captain Mahendra pratap Singh was to take the ornaments from one destination to another,his mother feared some danger and asked him to seek blessings of Maa
Ambe.Capatain followed mother's instructions.He along with four other soldiers started their journey.
Suddenly a big truck slightly hot then and then stopped in front of their carrier.Captain and fellow soldiers realised that they were attacked by robbers.
They decided to fight back.They took out the machine guns and gave the robbers a tough time.After one and half hours,The soldiers were able to defeat the robbers and deposited the valuable ornaments to the temple.
On 26th January all the solldiers were given bravery awards.
