No methane does not cause acid rain.
Acid rain is due to oxide of sulphur and nitrogen.

Hey there!
Good question.

Well the answer to my surprise is Methane also has its part in the cause of acid rain. It's a greenhouse gas actually, but ain't the main cause of acid rain. This is according to the new research. But still our answer is it doesn't cause acid rain as it's a natural gas which causes no harm at all!

Hope this helps you
