Given :-

Joe has a rectangular tomato plot .

Length of the plot = 15m

Width of the plot = 4 m

One bag of fertilizer cover 7m

Solution :-

Length = 15m , Width = 4m

Area of rectangle

=  \: length \:  \times  \: breath \:

Therefore ,

Area of plot = 15 * 4

Area of plot = 60m^2

Now ,

One bag of fertilizer covers 7m

Therefore ,

The no.of bags covers the plot = 60/7 = 8.5

Hence , 8.5 bags are needed to cover the plot .
