Answer:

Joel = 35   Sita = 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the No. of Bananas with Joel be x and that with Sita be y

Condition 1: x + 5 = 2 ( y - 5 )

                   x + 5 = 2y - 10  . . . . . (1)

Condition 2: y + 5 = x - 5

                    x = y + 10 . . . . . (2)

Substitute (2)  in  (1)

( y + 10 ) + 5 = 2y - 10

=> y = 25

Sub in (2)

x = 25 + 10

=> x = 35

Therefore Joel has 35 Bananas whereas Sita has 25 Bananas.
