cost of 100 eggs = 40 rs

cp of 1 egg=40/100

                = 0.4 rs

if 4 are broken remaining egg= 100-4

                                                  = 96 eggs

cp of 96 eggs = 96*0.4

                       =38.4 rs

sp of 12 eggs=7.50

sp of 1 egg= 7.50/12

                  =0.625 rs

sp of 96 eggs=96*0.625

                       =60 rs

as sp > cp

there is a gain

gain=sp-cp

        = 60-38.4

       =21.6

gain|%=( 21.6/38.4)100

          = 56.25%
