John bought two fans for rupees 3605 he sold one at a profit of 15% and the other at a loss of 9% if john obtained the same amount for each fan find the cost price of each fan.

you can make equations
x+y = 3605
1.15*x + 0.91*y = 3605
now 0.15*x = 0.09*y so y = 1.66*x
apply on equation 1 you get
now x= 1350.18 and y = 2254.81

if you do 15%profit from one of them and loss of 9% of other then add them you will not get 3605.
so your answers are wrong
