Answers
answer c is right answer
Given:
Total number of sacks= 3
Total number of coconuts in each sacks= 10
Total number of poll booths= 9
Toll tax to be paid at each poll booth= 1 coconut for every sack
To find:
number of coconuts left at the end of the journey.
Solution:
Total no. of coconuts is 3*10=30
Total toll tax booths=9
As he needs to pay one coconut from each sack he will give 3 coconuts in total at first booth and a time will come one one sack will be empty when he has paid 12 coconuts i.e. 4 booths.
Only two sacks will be left and then he will pay two coconuts until another sack is also empty.
Now at another 5 booths he will pay 2 coconuts each and the second sack will become empty.
Now only 10 coconuts will remain i.e. only one sack is left
The answer is 10 coconuts.
