Black soil or alluvial soil will be better for growing plants because it is formed when the water flow from the top of mountainous or hilly areas it carries the top layer of soil with it which contains humus and gets deposits at the foothill or bottom of hilly areas . This soil deposited at bottom or banks of river is known as alluvial soil or black soil. As it contains humus ,it is very fertile and suitable for growth of plants.
