Dear Diary
Today, I had my first experience of appearing in a public examination. It was an examination for the post of Probation Officers in various nationalized banks. I had spent nights preparing for it but before entering the examination hall, I began to feel nervous. I prayed to God so that I could regain my confidence. There were lots of noises all around the hall. As soon as the gates were opened, candidates rushed in and looked for their seats.
It was a big hall in which there were eight rows of seats with 20 desks in each row. After we had taken our seats, the superintendent read out detailed instructions to us. Candidates were warned not to use any unfair means in the examination. Then, the question papers were handed over to us alongwith the answer sheets. It was an objective type question paper which was to be finished in two hours. After going through the paper, I started writing down the answers.
I marked all the answers well in time and was also able to revise them. There were some mistakes which I corrected at once. Then, finally I filled my OMR sheet. I'm hopeful to get through this exam successfully.
