Answer-

The new cost of the flight is $317.58

Solution-

Previous price of Jonathan's flight = $402

Now he get to know that the cost of the flight dropped down by 21%.

21% of $402 will be,

402\times \frac{21}{100}=\$84.42

So, the current price of Jonathan's flight will be,

= Previous week's cost price - 21% of previous week's cost price

= 402 - 84.42

= $317.58

Therefore, the new cost of the flight is $317.58
