To calculate the whole sections cut from the board, we will have to divide 25 by 1.75
But we cannot divide a no. by a decimal no.
therefore we multiply both the nos. by 100 (just to remove the decimal)
it gives us - 2500/175
on dividing, we get -
14 as quotient and 50 as remainder
that means 14 whole sections can be cut in all.
