The story revolves around our main character uncle Podger who makes a huge issue of a small work.  He decides to hang a picture on the wall but before that he creates a mess by calling everyone else in the house for help.  First of all the picture falls and frame is out, then he cuts his own hand and later falls down the ladder.  In the end he loses control of the hammer which falls on someone else's toe.  He blames the women in the house for disturbing him and not letting him work.
