the answer is just simple.....we can see many things around us, infact they are uncountable..we can distinguish them with their body structure and their movement.We human being can move and our body cells have specific function on the other hand stones can't move and their structure is differentiated

To prove that enviroment contains both living and non living components we can take human beings animal and plants etc as example of living component and we can take Plastic Metal rockd air water etc as example of non living components but all these components furthet help in the growth of human beings.
