Answer:

In a uniform circular motion , the speed of the body remains same but the direction of motion changes at every point. In uniform circular motion different velocity vector at different positions of particle. At each position the velocity vector v is perpendicular to radius radius vector r.

Hence velocity of body changes continuously due to continuous change in direction of motion of the body. As we know rate of change of velocity w.r.t. time is an acceleration.

Therefore , uniform circular motion is an  accelerated motion.​
