by this example that when we are not in motion the rotating . if earth too not rotating it's revolving ,if it's not our universe is in motion that how we know the motion is relative to each other not absolute

motion depends of the frame of reference of the body if you are sitting inside your house you are in rest with respect to the house it means you are not doing any type of motion because the frame of reference of your house and you is same 

now consider a man seeing you from the moon what he will see that you are moving because frame of reference of you and the man changes due to motion of moon

also another man who is on mars saw that both of you man on the moon and you are moving

that is why motion is relative because it depends on frame of reference
