Answer :-
"Cat's Paradise" by Émile Zola is an apt title of the story. This story revolves around a naïve Angora cat who lived a comfortable life . The cat had a dream to slip out of the half-opened window and experience the life on streets, of those independent tomcats. The life of a tomcat wasn't easy. Tomcats had to struggle for life whereas petcats were safe in their home sweet homes. Though tomcats were free to play or walk around, they had to drink from gutters and garbage heaps. Soon the cat realized that the street was not a good place for him, where you can't eat, but, instead, can be eaten! So, he goes back home and starts enjoying his luxurious life, his "paradise", again.❀
