hey...
the story in the form of a diary entry has an appropriate title in " the fun they had" . the title refers to the fun or enjoyment the kids used to have in old times ( that is , the present time )as they would go together to a building called school where real humans would teach them. they would be taught the same things . it was beneficial as they could help one another in their homework. Margie who is deprived of all that fun feels sad and lonely. the mechanical teacher would teach her and assess her progress . she is not happy as she feels bored , confined to her room before the television screen day after day. she has no fun as the kids of yesteryears had once so the title is quiet apt and suggestions

keep loving
keep smiling

Answer:

The Title of the story "The Fun They Had" has been derived form the closing words of the story. They reflect the opinion of Margie, a young girl in the year 2157, about the students centuries ago. Margie's school is next to her bedroom. In place of a human teacher, she has a mechanical teacher and a big screen that displays her lessons. This machine is attuned to her level. The girl does not like such customization and imagines how much fun the earlier students must have had going to the same school. Thus "The Fun They Had" rightly conveys the importance of present day education system when children have fun during their schooling.
