to show this is dimensionally correct or not we need to take their dimension according to given formula in question for this question

dimension of impulse is M^1L^1T^-1 (1)

dimension of momentum is force × time I.e

M^1L^1T^-1 .T^1

=M^1L^1T^-1 (2)

if we take equal impulse and change in momentum then

impulse = change in momentum

by putting dimensions of them from equation 1 and 2

M^1L^1T-1 =M^1L^1T^-1

we see both dimension are equal.

hence this formulae is correct.
