First of all you shouldn’t be sticking anything into your ears let alone a match stick. All you manage to do is push the wax in the ear further into the ear canal and run the risk of puncturing the ear drum. So it’s not a good idea to stick anything in there.

If you need to clean your ear please do not use a match stick, if you insist on putting something in there then use something a little better such as a Q tip, I would much rather have you use an ear wax cleaning kit. It is much safer and actually works.
