In this story there is innocence and loving nature toward strangers. It is one of my most favourite story by Rabindranath Tagore, and i would be pleased to describe it.
                                                   KABULIWALA
The person we call kabuliwala was Abdul Rehman Khan, he was a Pathan who ha borrowed money from a money lender. He came to India from Kabul to sell dry fruits on streets. one day he met a little girl Mini. On the first day of meeting Rehman she so afraid that she went inside because she thought he was there to kidnap children in his bag but the author and her father explined to her that Rehman was not a kidnapper. She was afraid of him, but soon after knowing that he was not a kidnapper that on the next day when her father saw she was playing with her Kabuliwali. Everyday he came to play with Mini and give her dry fruits to eat.One day he asked her when will she go to her laws(sasural) but he never got any answer from the little Mini. She was scolded by her mother to not talk or communicate with strangers as she was very concerned because people from Kabul took or kidnapped children to Kabul for child labour. Nevertheless she did not paid any attention to her mother and waited for Kabuliwala everyday. One day when Mini was waiting for Rehman she saw some cops taking him to prison. When she calles him, "Kabuliwala............. kaha ja rahe ho, he answered her that he was going to his laws(sasural). When the author asked one of the cops about why are taking Rehman, they said that, "He stabbed somebody with a sharp knife because that person was not giving him money after buying dry fruit from him. They took him and he was announced a prison for several years.
After he was released from the jail he went to Mini to meet her but after so many years when the author suddenly saw him he was surprised and when Rehman asked for meeting Mini firstly he he refused after he begged him to meet her he called Mini who was now a lady beautifully dressed in wedding dress for her wedding. Rehman was not able to recognise her so was Mini, but when he realised the reality he thought after so many years of his jail he was returning and till now both her daughter Amina and Mini who in India was like her own daughter are grown up. He blessed Mini for her marriage and said, that now she is going to her Laws (sasural). After this conversation he returned to Kabul to he daughter Amina and family.
I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS YOU, AS IT TOOK ME ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO IMAGINE AND WRITE THIS.
