कागज: नमस्ते दोस्त, कैसे हो।
कलम: मैं ठीक हूँ, आप सुनाओ। आज थोड़ा परेशान दिख रहे हो। क्या हुआ?
कागज: क्या कहूँ दोस्त। उफ़! ए आजकल के बच्चे, बहुत परेशान कर रहे है। तुम्हें पता है रोज नोटबुक के पन्नों को फाड़कर उसकी नाव बनाते है और पानी में डाल देते हैं, और मुझे भिगो देता है। ऐरोप्लेन बनाके इधर से उधर फेंकते रहते है। बच्चे तो बच्चे बड़े भी कुछ कम नहीं है।
कलम: हममममम। सही कह रह रहे हो।
कागज: बच्चे तो नासमझ होते है, लेकिन बड़े तो मेरा इस्तेमाल चुरमुरी खाने के लिए, बच्चे की तट्टी साफ करने के लिए कर रहे है।
कलम: सच है। हम निर्जीव है तो इन्हें लगता है कि हमें दर्द नहीं होता, पर इन्हें कौन समझाए कि हमें भी दर्द होता है।
कागज: सच कह रहे हो दोस्त। जब कोई मुझे कैंची से काटता है तो दर्द से मेरी चीख निकल जाती है। लेकिन उसे कोई सुन भी नहीं पाता।
कलम: हाँ दोस्त मेरा हाल तुमसे कुछ अलग नहीं है। बच्चे तो मेरी निब (नोक) को तोड़ते ही रहते है। आजकल तो बाजार में युज़ एन्ड थ्रो वाले कलम आ रही है। जिसे एक बार इस्तेमाल करते हैं और शाही खत्म होने पर कुड़ेदान में फेंक देते हैं।
कागज़: अच्छा ऐसा क्या।
कलम: और तो और आजकल स्कूल के बच्चे मुझे हथियार बनाकर आपस में पेन फाईट का खेल खेलते हैं और मुझे अपने ही सगे संबंधियों से लड़ने पर मजबूर करते है। कितना दुःख होता है पर किससे कहें।
कागज़: वैसे कागज़ और कलम एक होकर सही हाथों में हो तो दुनिया को हिला सकते है। क्यों ठीक कह रहा हूँ न मैं।
कलम: हाँ बिलकुल सही। और इसी वजह से हम सब दुःख दर्द सहन कर रहे हैं।Answer:
