Kakori Conspiracy case took place in 1925. The members of Hindustan Republic Association halted a train which was traveling from Shahjahanpur to Lucknow. The robbery occurred in Kakori town to loot the treasure of British Government. Some of the revolutionaries involved were –
1) Chandrashekhar Azad
2) Ashfaqullah Khan
3) Ram Prasad Bismil
4) Rajendra Lahiri
Many were arrested and tried in court.
Rajendra Lahiri, Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan were hanged.
