=> x + 7 = (2x + 21 + 18) / 3

=> 3(x + 7) = (2x + 21 + 18)

=> 3x + 21 = 2x + 39

=> 3x - 2x = 39 - 21

=> x = 18


Required Ages -

Sunita = x = 18 years

Kamal = 2x/3 = 2(18)/3 = 36/3 = 12 years

Hence, the present age of Sunita is 18 years and the present age of Kamal is 12 years
