\textbf{Given:}

\text{Karan is 2 year older to teja now}

\text{After 4 years, their ages will be in the ratio of 11:10 }

\textbf{To find:}

\text{Present ages of Karan and Teja}

\textbf{Solution:}

\text{Let the present ages of Karan and Teja be $x$ and $y$ with x>y}

\text{As per given data,}

x=y+2......(1)

\text{After 4 years, their ages are in the ratio 11:10}

\implies\,x+4:y+4=11:10

\implies\dfrac{x+4}{y+4}=\dfrac{11}{10}

\text{Using (1), we get}

\implies\dfrac{(y+2)+4}{y+4}=\dfrac{11}{10}

\implies\dfrac{y+6}{y+4}=\dfrac{11}{10}

\implies\,10y+60=11y+44

\implies\,11y-10y=60-44

\implies\bf\,y=16

(1)\implies\bf\,x=18

\therefore\textbf{The present ages of Karan and Teja are 18 and 16 respetively}

Answer:

present ages of Karan and teja:

karan = x+2

teja = x

Given ratio after 4 years is 11/10

Age after 4 years :

karan = (x+2)+4

teja = (x)+4

------>

(x+2)+4/x+4 = 11/10

10(x+6) = 11(x+4)

10x +60 =11x+44

60 - 44 = 11x -10x

16 = x

Therefore present ages of karan and teja :

karan = (x+2) = > since x= 16 => 16+2 = 18

Teja = x  => 16
