Kareem says, “I plan to get eight hours of sleep each night, but I lose 15 minutes up to and including a half-hour of sleep every time my dog barks!

Write two different INEQUALITY statements to represent how many hours of sleep, h, Kareem gets in terms of the number of times the dog barks, b.

Kareem plans to get eight hours of sleep but looses a half hour of sleep every time his dog barks. Therefore the relation between his hours of sleep (h) and number of dog barks (b) will be:

h = 8 – (b/2)

So that if b = 0, Kareem’s hours of sleep:

h= 8-(0/2)

= 8-0

= 8

if b = 5

h = 8 -(5/2)

h = (16-5)/2

h = 11/2

h = 5.5

and so on....

by these equations we can plot graph
