Math, asked by mlee2028, 4 months ago

Karl volunteers at the science museum, and he has been asked to solve a problem with a display of insects and spiders for their upcoming fall festival. They want to keep the number of creatures, 14, the same, but they want the number of legs for the spiders to be the same as the number of legs for the insects. The current total number of legs is 108. Note that spiders have 8 legs, and insects have 6.

How many spiders and insects does the display currently contain?
How many spiders and insects should Karl recommend the display have?
