Because KGF(Kolar Gold field) located in kolar And Hutti and Raichur, karnataka
the only place in india had Gold mining so thats why Karnataka called as land of gold and Presently the gold mines of Hutti and Raichur produce almost 84 per cent of the country's gold
The other major centers of gold mining are Dharwad and Chitradurga is in karnataka only so thats why Karnataka called as land of gold
