Kevin uses 1 1/3 cups of flour to make one loaf of bread, 2 2/3 cups of flour to make two loaves of bread, and 4 cups of flour to make three loaves of bread. If Kevin uses the same recipe, how many cups of flour will he use to make 4 loaves of bread?

Step-by-step explanation:

All you have to do is convert 1⅓ cups into improper fraction to make it easier than simply multiply it n number of loaves you want to bake .

1⅓ cups = 4 / 3 cups

1 loaf -:

4 / 3 × 1 = 4 / 3 cups

2 loaves -:

4 / 3 × 2 = 8 / 3 cups or 2⅔ cups

3 loaves -:

4 / 3 × 3 = 12 / 3 cups or 4 cups

4 loaves -:

4 / 3 × 3 = 16 / 3 cups or 5⅓ cups

Hence , proved h.p
