No. Though Kezia thought her father to be cruel at the beginning but she was proved wrong by the end as when her granny and mother were in the hospital she was kept all alone with their cook, Alice. Though at night he somehow made her sleep but she woke up by middle of the night because of her Nightmares. She screamed out and also woke up her father with her screams. But her father instead of getting angry he kindly took her and made her comfortable in his room with him. And that is where she realised that her father cared for her a lot and that as he gets tired with his daily work for that purpose he was not able to spend time with her. But he loved Kezia from the bottom of his heart.
