Information about kho kho game is given below -

•Kho kho is an ancient game, originated in Maharashtra, India.

The game comprises of two teams, with 12 players each side.

•Out 12 players, 9 participate in the game in the field, and rest 3 are additional players, which may replace them in case of injury.

•The two teams are named the chaser team and defender team.

There are two rounds of 9 minute each.

•Chaser team sits on the ground, facing in the opposite direction. They have to touch the opposite team, to 'out' them.

•The defender cannot cross the line in between and can not change the direction.

•The chaser team members give others member chance to touch the defender team by touching their team member and saying 'kho'.
