Khudiram Bose made an attempt on life of Judge Kinsford with the help of Praffula Chaki.

They were the two Bengali revolutionaries who adopted extreme and violent methods to achieve the Independence for India.

The Judge Kinsford was known for his cruel, inhuman and ruthless judgments. So the Yugantar party, the secret revolutionary party assigned the job of his execution to Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki. The operation was not successful and Khudiram Bose was arrested and executed. Praffula Chaki committed suicide in order to avoid his arrest
