Find the prime factors of 30 and 48:

30 = 2 x 3 x 5

48 = 2⁴ x 3

Find the HCF:

HCF = 2 x 3 = 6

Find the number of cookies in each bag:

Oatmeal = 30 ÷ 6 = 5

Chocolate chip = 48 ÷ 6 = 8

Answer: She needs 6 plastic bags. Each bag has 5 oatmeal and 8 chocolate chip cookies.
